custom botanical compositions

Welcome fellow flower lovers!

I am excited to be embarking on my next chapter, creating one-of-a-kind botanical compositions and feeling a renewed sense of inspiration.

I first turned to flowers as a form of expression in 2006, when I participated in my local garden club’s Art in Bloom program, which paired local artists with floral designers who produced designs inspired by their work. My circle expanded further when I joined Chapel Designers, a collaborative network of floral designers with studio-based businesses. For seven years, I focused on designing special occasion florals for weddings and organizing a variety of unique events, including a wedding shower where a bride and her guests designed and arranged her wedding centerpieces. I also had the honor of designing a floral workshop for a client’s 60th birthday party at the quintessential New England Inn at Hastings Park, where each guest took home a design of their own. Over the years, I have led various workshops geared toward alternative styles of arrangement, such as kokedama and terrariums, and I have continued to experiment with creative ways of displaying florals. Having lived on both coasts, I have had the luxury of freelancing for many talented designers, and I remain grateful to the clients who have supported, trusted, and inspired me over the years.

I currently reside in beautiful Santa Barbara, and as a collector and curator of treasures, I have discovered that there is no shortage of materials on California’s Central Coast. Bits of driftwood, lichen branches, and shells all bring so much personality to these new designs.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I would love to bring some beauty into your spaces!!!
